だだっ広い芝生の公園。
近くにあるホールフーズに行きたかったが、最寄りの駐車場が、ここ「リッチモンド・グリーン」の場所だったので、ついでに寄ってみた。
ここだけの為に来る価値は、特にないかと思う。

リッチモンド・グリーン：Richmond Green
The Green was the site of jousting in the 15th and 16th century when Tudor Kings and Queens stayed at Richmond Palace.
このグリーンは、15世紀から16世紀にかけてチューダー朝の王や女王がリッチモンド宮殿に滞在した際に、馬上槍試合が行われた場所です。
(The Gate House, Wardrobe and Old Palace Yard are still standing).

The Green remains part of the Crown Estates and is managed by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
このグリーンは現在もクラウンエステートの一部で、リッチモンド・アポン・テムズのロンドン区が管理しています。
The Green has a long and proud history of village cricket, traditional fairs and community celebrations and is enjoyed by all as restful open space.
