ベナリンは、ケンビュー社が所有する咳止め、風邪薬、インフルエンザ治療薬のブランド名である。

ベニリン製品の中には、痛み、咳、下痢の治療に使われるコデインが含まれているものもある。
代表的な咳止めシロップと風邪薬のブランドは、有効成分デキストロメトルファンのベナリンDMとして数カ国で販売されている。
しかし、固形剤と液剤の両方で入手可能な製品群には、プソイドエフェドリン、パラセタモール（アセトアミノフェン）、グアイフェネシンを含む複数の成分が配合されている。
2016年、英国で販売されたブランド市販薬の中で最も売れた薬の一つであり、売上高は3680万ポンドであった。
このブランドは2008年にファイザー社からジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソン社に売却された。

子供に飲ませる前に、とりあえず毒味的な感じで一口飲んでみた。
駄菓子屋とかで売っていそうな、安いリンゴフレーバー系の味。
薬感はあまりない。（≒幼児が飲むには飲みやすそうである）

かなり積極的に飲んでくれた。
お菓子と勘違いしているのだと思う。規定量以上に欲しがる。
飲んだ後からすぐ、目に見えて咳が止まった。
昼（13時）と寝る前（22時）に5mlずつ使用した。

This product contains maltitol. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicine. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.

Do not give more than the stated dose shown below.

Babies under 3 months：3ヶ月未満の赤ちゃん
Do not gice to babies under 3 months.
3ヶ月未満の乳児には与えないでください。
Children 3 months to 1 year – One 5ml spoonful
3ヶ月～1歳のお子様：5mlスプーン1杯
Children 1 to 5 years – Two 5ml spponfuls
1～5歳のお子様：5mlスプーン2杯
Give the dose 3 or 4 times within 24 hours, if needed.
必要であれば、24時間以内に3、4回投与する。
If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult your doctor.
症状が3日以上続く場合は、医師に相談する。
If anyone has taken too much：飲み過ぎてしまったら
If anyone has taken too much of this product, contact a doctor or your nearest Accident and Emergency Department (Casualty), taking this pack with you.
本製品を多量に摂取した場合は、本パックを持参の上、医師または最寄りの事故救急部（カジュアリティ）に連絡してください。
If you forget to give the medicine：薬を与え忘れた場合
If you forget a dose, give the next dose when needed.
Do not give a double dose.

Possible side-effects：考えられる副作用
This medicine is unlikely to cause side-effects unless your child is allergic to the ingredients.
