When Moana is young, her grandmother tells her a story: Long ago, the demigod Maui stole the heart of the goddess Te Fiti, and a darkness began to spread.
幼い頃、モアナは祖母からある話を聞きました：昔、半神マウイが女神テ・フィティの心を奪い、闇が広がり始めました。
Years later, the darkness reaches Moana’s island, and she learns that the ocean has chosen her. To save the island, Moana must find Maui and make him restore the heart.
数年後、闇はモアナの島に到達し、彼女は海が彼女を選んだことを知りました。島を救うため、モアナはマウイを探し出し、心を元に戻す必要があります。
Moana has always wanted to sail, but she doesn’t know how, Still, she braves the sea to bring the heart to Maui.

Maui agrees to help – but only if they get his magical fishhook back from a monstrous crab named Tamatoa.

On the way to get his hook, Maui taught Moana to sail. On the way to Te Fiti, Moana helps Maui relearn his magic.

Te Fiti’s island is guarded by a fiery lava demon called Te Ka!

Moana cannot get past Te Ka, and in the struggle, Maui’s fishhook is broken. Still, Moana reaches deep inside and finds the courage to try again.
モアナはテ・カを追い越すことができず、格闘の末、マウイの釣り針は折れてしまいました。それでもモアナは心の奥底に手を伸ばし、再挑戦する勇気を見つけました。
But as Moana gets close, she realizes who TeKa is. “Who you truly are,” Moana says. “Te Fiti.”
Moana gives TeKa the heart, and the goddess is healed. The darkness disappears!
しかし、モアナが近づいたとき、テ・カが何者であるかに気づいたのです。モアナは言います。「あなた、本当はテ・フィティね」
モアナはテ・カに心を与え、女神は癒されました。そして闇は消えていったのです！
Maui tells Te Fiti he is sorry for stealing her heart. She forgives him – and even fixes his fishhook.
マウイはテ・フィティの心を奪ってしまったことを謝りました。彼女は彼を許し、彼の釣り針を直しました。
Moana returns home to lead her people, and teach them to sail the sea!
モアナは民を率い、海の航海を教えるために故郷に戻りました！
