In the faraway kingdom of Agrabah, a brave princess named Jasmine dreams of life outside the palace walls.
遠く離れたアグラバ王国で、勇敢な王女ジャスミンは宮殿の壁の外での生活を夢見ていました。
As a princess, Jasmine is not allowed to leave the palace. And in three days’ time, she will have to marry a prince.
王女であるジャスミンは、宮殿を出ることが許されません。そして3日後には王子と結婚しなければならないのです。
Feeling trapped, Jasmine sneaks out of the palace to the city market. There, a fruit seller accuses her of stealing – and a handsome peasant whisks Jasmine to safety.
窮地に陥ったジャスミンは、宮殿を抜け出して街の市場へと向かいました。そこで果物売りに盗みの疑いをかけられてしまいましたが、ハンサムな農民がジャスミンを安全な場所まで連れて行ってくれました。
Jasmine thanks the boy and learns his name – Aladdin. As they talk, she begins to trust him.
ジャスミンは少年に感謝し、アラジンという名前を知りました。話をするうちに、彼女は彼を信頼し始めました。
Suddenly, palace guards burst in and arrest Aladdin! They call him a thief. Jasmine commands them to stop, but the guards have orders from Jafar, the sultan’s wicked adviser.
突然、宮殿の衛兵が乱入し、アラジンを逮捕しました！彼らはアラジンを泥棒呼ばわりしました。ジャスミンは彼らを止めるよう命じましたが、衛兵たちはスルタンの邪悪な顧問であるジャファーの命令を受けていたのです。
When Jasmine returns to the palace, she demands that Jafar release Aladdin. But the sorcerer says Jasmine is too late – she’ll never see Aladdin again.
宮殿に戻ったジャスミンは、ジャファーにアラジンを解放するよう要求しました。しかし魔術師は、ジャスミンはもう手遅れだと言いました。
Meanwhile, many princes visit the palace, hoping to marry Jasmine. One, named Prince Ali, arrives on a magic carpet.
一方、ジャスミンとの結婚を望む多くの王子たちが宮殿を訪れました。そのうちの一人、アリ王子は魔法のじゅうたんに乗ってやって来ました。
At first, Jasmine doesn’t like Prince Ali, and thinks he’s just like all the others. But when hi takes Jasmine on a magic carpet ride, Ali begins to seem very familiar.
最初は、ジャスミンはアリ王子のことが好きではなく、他の王子と同じだと思っていました。しかし、アリ王子がジャスミンを魔法のじゅうたんに乗せると、アリ王子がとても身近な存在に思えてきました。
Jasmine happily decides to marry Prince Ali. But Jafar has hypnotized the Sultan. Now Jasmine must marry Jafar!
ジャスミンはめでたくアリ王子との結婚を決めました。しかし、ジャファーはスルタンに催眠術をかけました。ジャスミンはジャファーと結婚しなければならなくなったのです！
Ali – who’s really Aladdin! – returns with a magical Genie and helps Jasmine stop Jafar.
The grateful Sultan tells Jasmine she can marry whoever she chooses! She and Aladdin can live happily ever after.
アリ（本当はアラジン）が魔法のジーニーを携えて戻り、ジャスミンを助けました！- 感謝するスルタンは、ジャスミンに誰と結婚してもいいと言いました！ジャスミンとアラジンは幸せに暮らすことが出来ました。
