Briar Rose lives in a cottage hidden deep within the forest with he three aunts – Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather.
ブライヤー・ローズは、フローラ、ファウナ、メリーウェザーの3人の叔母と一緒に、森の奥深くにひっそりと佇むコテージに住んでいました。
What Briar Rose doesn’t know is that she’s actually a princess named Aurora! Her “aunts” are good fairies who have used their magic to protect Aurora from an evil spell that the wicked fairy, Maleficent, cast upon her when she was born.
ブライヤー・ローズは、自分がオーロラという名のプリンセスであることを知らりません！彼女の “おばさん “たちは、オーロラが生まれたときに悪い妖精マレフィセントがかけた邪悪な魔法からオーロラを守るために魔法を使った善良な妖精たちだったのです。
Aurora spends much of her time in the forest, where she picks berries, and sings and dances with her animal friends.

One day, as Prince Phillip rides through the forest, he hears Aurora’s beautiful song.

Phillip stops to talk with Aurora, and the two laugh, dance and fall in love. They agree to meet again later that evening.

But at home, the fairies tell Aurora the truth. Tonight they will take her back to the castle to meet her parents and celebrate her sixteenth birthday.
There, Maleficent once again uses her evil magic on Aurora.

Under Maleficent’s spell, the princess pricks her finger on a magic spinning wheel and falls into a deep sleep – along with everyone else in the castle!

The only thing that can break the spell is True Love’s Kiss.
With help from the good fairies, Prince Phillip sets out to face Maleficent and find Aurora.

Maleficent transforms into a dragon, but together, Phillip and the good fairies are able to stop her once and for all.

With a kiss, the spell is broken, and the whole castle wakes up! Aurora, Phillip, and their family and friends live happily after.
